Baby Lullaby Music

Soothing Lullabies proven to make you sleepy.

All Through The Night is not only a lullaby – it’s considered by many to be a Christmas carol, and has been included on many albums of that genre.

This Welsh folk song from bygone centuries is one of the most directly comforting and soothing lullabies in it’s lyrical content:

Sleep, my child, and peace attend thee
All through the night
Guardian angels God will lend (or send) thee
All through the night

Soft the drowsy hours are creeping
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping
Love alone it’s watch is keeping
All through the night

Angels watching ever round thee
All through the night
In thy slumbers close around thee
All through the night
They will of all fears disarm thee
No forebodings should alarm thee
They will let no peril harm thee
All through the night

The English versions we sing today are not really translations of the original Welsh lyrics, but simply new lyrics, the most commonly sung having been composed by Sir Harold Boulton in the late 1800′s.
